After launching in the world market last month, Garmin Vivo smart 5 smart band has entered the Indian market this time. This is a premium fitness band from smart wearable maker Garmin. 


It is the successor to the Vivo smart 4 band launched in 2019. Like other smartwatches on the market, it has multiple health features and sports mode. The Garmin Vivo smart 5 band is priced at Rs 14,999 in the Indian market. The new smart band is going to be available in Black and Mint color options to the buyers from today i.e., from 10th June in the company's own store, Amazon, Flipkart.

The newcomer Garmin Vivo smart 5 band comes with a minimalist design as well as comfort. Its LED display measures 0.41x0.63 inches and has a resolution of 8x154 pixels. According to the company, the text on its screen can be seen 6% larger. Not only that, there is a physical button at the bottom of the display.

On the other hand, this new smart band will have 24/7 heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor and stress monitor. Moreover, it is able to track user's energy level, hydration logging, respiration and women's menstrual cycle. It also has a new mode called the Fitness Edge feature, which allows the band to know the user's current age by understanding the user's V2Max, resting heart rate and body mass index. In addition, the smart band has multiple sports modes. It comes with GPS tracker.

Moreover, like other smartwatches, it also has text messages, social media alerts, calendars and weather updates. Above all, it is compatible with both iOS and Android devices. According to the company, on a single charge it will offer up to seven days of battery life.
